When a solar panel is connected, it will preferentially run from that, with automatic mains boosting if there is insufficient solar power.

This is a high-efficiency chest freezer with advanced technology, super-insulated walls, and a brushless 140w DC motor that runs from an internal 60Ah lithium battery, which may be charged from a solar panel or 240-volt power.  The built-in PMU (Power Management Unit) includes an MPPT charge controller and a smart 240v adaptor.
